Dr. T. Murt Byrne began his education at the University of New Mexico, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry in 1984. He then graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Byrne is currently the President-elect of the New Mexico Veterinary Medical Association, a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Valle del Norte Veterinary Medical Association. In 2008 Dr. Byrne was chosen as NMVMA’s veterinarian of the year.


Dr. Byrne owns and operates the Eldorado Animal Clinic just south of beautiful Santa Fe, NM.  The practice focuses mainly on dogs and cats, and offers wellness exams, senior care, dental services, surgery, and vaccinations, and much more! Dr. Byrne’s clinic features endoscopy, ultrasound and a full in-house laboratory and is currently staffed by 4 dedicated veterinarians and support technicians.

 

Dr. Byrne lives in Santa Fe with his Irish Terrier, Mick, and 4 cats.
