Dr. Carmen Stamper

Dr. Carmen Stamper graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995.  She practiced as a full-time small animal veterinarian in Toledo, Ohio for over 5 years, working with dogs, cats, reptiles, ferrets, and pocket pets.  Dr. Stamper began working at the FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine in 2001, as a new animal drug reviewer.  She currently works on the CVM Communications Staff.  Dr. Stamper is the proud wife of a Navy microbiologist and the proud mom of a wonderful 8-year-old boy, a mischievous 1-year-old Flat-Coated Retriever, a happy White Pekin duck, and three grumpy Emden geese.
