Julie Ann Ryan-Johnson, DVM

 

Dr. Julie Ann Ryan Johnson is a quintessential advocate for veterinary medicine and the advancement of animal health.  She completed her undergraduate work at California Polytechnical School, San Luis Obispo then graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine.  In her career as a veterinarian she has served the medical needs of horses, marine mammals, along with being the Shelter Director and County Veterinarian for Orange County.  She is actively involved in organized veterinary medicine at the local and state level.  Dr. Ryan-Johnson excelled as a technical veterinarian for the pharmaceutical company Merial.  She and her husband, Dr. Gary Johnson own a companion animal hospital in Dana Point, CA.  In her spare time, she is an avid equestrian, practices yoga, and trains for triathlons.
