Victoria Wells

Victoria Wells

Victoria Wells specializes in the assessment and behavioral rehabilitation of severely abused and neglected dogs. Seen regularly on Animal Planet’s hit reality show Animal Precinct, Wells is a longtime training and behavior media spokesperson, which led to a three-year stint as the animal behavior expert for NY1’s “New York Living” segment. Behind the scenes, Wells takes on the role of animal director/acting coach. She also writes about animal behavior for various publications and serves as the behavioral advisor for several magazines. Victoria has also organized and promoted several concerts, including Rational Animal’s “Gimme Shelter Rock and Rescue Benefit” with the Beastie Boys and Debbie Harry. Victoria recently launched “Animals-Music-Performances” (“AMP”), a non-profit musical events planning and promotional organization with the objective of reaching a previously untapped demographic through music. Money raised at AMP-sponsored events is donated to those animal shelters and rescues that adhere to certain ethical standards and guidelines outline by the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals. A musician herself, Victoria can be heard singing the intro theme song to City Pound, “Who’s the Dog Now?” which she also wrote.
