This magazine was created because I spent a great deal of time speaking to different dog owners and giving them endless amounts of information that was not easily accessible.  I also realized I had a unique voice because I owned different dog business.  I knew the limited schedule of a pet business owner.  I also realized these were people with great voices and ideas and wanted to bring those voices out. 

Tove will be hosting the first ever Dog Oscars called the Wag Awards in May of 2008 in Seattle’s W Hotel.  The pet industry owners in Washington felt they had little to no recognition for their efforts.  This black tie affair will include silver dog bowl awards, an entertaining show to announce the awards, a silent auction to raise funds for animal charities, a four course dinner, and more!
