Emily Youngreen

Emily Youngreen is Plume 'n Tails owner–business partner, manager and accounts representative. Previously she was resource coordinator for the National Network of Women in Trades for nine years. She is a registered diversity trainer and facilitator, and has organized and coordinated an International Indigenous Youth Camp, reporting to the Canadian International Development Agency (C.I.D.A.), in 1996. From 1999 to 2007 she has managed and supervised Home Support Field Services for the North Kootenay Lake Community Services and Hummingbird Home Help. She began her career as a veterinary technologist in Los Altos, California. Together with her husband and business partner, Gustav, she owned and operated the Circle R Spur Guest Ranch in Lucerne, California. She is a published author, a children's book illustrator and an artist who has exhibited her work at local galleries in the Kootenay region. She is also a contributing member of the Cat Writers’ Association.
