Bud Houston was introduced to dog agility in 1988. The US really had no established agility program at the time so Bud is one of the old timers of the sport, earning his first agility title (USDAA's AD) his first time in the ring with his sheltie, Winston. Bud continues to train his shelties and shelter mutts for agility, is a prolific writer and blogger on dog training issues, judges for USDAA and TDAA, and presents seminars on dog agility all over the world.  The Houstons own Country Dream dog training resort in southeastern Ohio, where they offer group camps for agility and rally-o, as well as private vacation experiences."
