Award-winning author and photographer, Tracy Libby, stops by to visit with Marcie and Lovey about her gorgeous new book, Reporting for Duty: True Stories of Wounded Veterans and Their Service Dogs. Tracy shares lots of inspiring stories of some of America’s greatest heroes and the canines that saved their lives. She also talks about incredible service dogs for veterans that were trained in Shelter to Service and Prison Puppy programs!
BIO:
Tracy Libby is an award-winning writer and photographer whose work has won multiple awards from the Dog Writers Association of America (DWAA) and the Alliance of Purebred Dog Writers (APDW). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon and has been writing about canine care and welfare for more than two decades. Her articles have appeared in most mainstream magazines including Dog Fancy, Modern Dog, Dog World, and Puppies USA, as well as online. Reporting for Duty is her fourteenth book on canines. She lives in Oregon with her husband, five cats, and four Australian Shepherds. She has been involved in the sport of dogs for nearly three decades, exhibiting her Aussies in agility, conformation, and obedience.
