What a concept!  For all those stuck at home or in a facility that lacks the joy of animals and those that have the feeling of isolation.  Created during the pandemic by Jennifer Bashford who holds a Masters degree along with degrees in Public Policy & Gerontology.  The volunteers are a diverse group. All virtual visits are either alone or can be shared with others from all over. This is all FREE.  PetsTogether.org.   Non Profit.  Join me as she explains this new concept and the joy it brings.

BIO:

Jennifer Bashford lives in the North Carolina mountains with her 5 special needs rescue dogs and her husband. She holds master’s degrees in both public policy and gerontology and has been involved in non-profit management for over ten years. Working with Pets Together is the perfect blend of all of her passions. When she isn’t on a Zoom call with a long term care facility, you can usually find her hiking or kayaking with one of her dogs.
