Mark Mestas started professionally training dogs at 16 years old (in 1999). He grew up in a family of dog trainers and remembers riding his big wheel around the park while his parents competed in obedience competitions. At 18 Mark started heavily learning about dog psychology and how to rehabilitate fearful and aggressive dogs. In 2007 Mark joined the Coast Guard but at every new station he would alway volunteer to help rescues rehabilitate the fearful and aggressive dog. After the Coast Guard Mark was asked to step in as an Interim CEO for his family’s dog training franchise, Dog Training Elite. He is now continuing to help dogs through teaching Dog Training Elite Franchisees how to rehabilitate fearful and aggressive dogs.
