BIO:
Briana Keller, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology) is a board-certified veterinary oncologist who graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2013. She was a rotating intern and oncology intern at North Carolina State University, where she also completed her oncology residency in 2018.
Dr. Keller originally wanted to pursue a career in wildlife medicine, but after traveling the world to work with exotic animals in places like South Africa, Costa Rica, and Australia as a veterinary student, she realized how much she missed getting to know her patients and building relationships with pet owners. Her interest in oncology grew in her final year of veterinary school, and by graduation she knew she wanted to focus her career on helping pets with cancer.
Cancer can be a devastating diagnosis, but Dr. Keller aims to provide compassionate and informative care to help pet owners make the best decisions for their furry family members regarding treatment. Her goal is to give her patients as much quality time as possible with their families. She is particularly interested in hematopoietic tumors (such as lymphoma and leukemia), electrochemotherapy, and palliative cancer care.
Dr. Keller is thrilled to be back in Minnesota, and she lives with her husband and excitable Labrador mixes, Raleigh and Fiona. She enjoys hiking, musicals, cooking, wine tasting, and movie nights.
