Are your pets in your funeral plans??? For Covered in Pet Hair's Halloween Special, Life After Death, I had the opportunity to talk to Traci Denver about things I have never thought about when it comes to funeral homes, cemeteries, cremation, etc. and how our pets fit into all that.
As Funeral Director & Embalmer at The Life Forest, Traci and I discuss all things funerals, cremation, and spending eternity in the same plot as our pets. Traci walks me through the ins and outs of pets and the funeral service industry and we learn about celebrations of life in cultures across the world and throughout history. Traci shares what she has planned for her final resting place. It's actually really funny. I'm still on the fence about my plans now that I know that placing my pets' ashes with mine is an option. We hope this episode gives you lots to think about and lots to celebrate.

Working for several years in the Death Care industry as a Funeral Director, and with a strong passion for animals and the outdoors, Traci has become an active consultant for Life Forest. Traci graduated from the New England Institute at Mount Ida College in 2011 with a BA in Bereavement Studies and Funeral Service. Prior to that, she obtained her BA in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. Traci’s knowledge of the Death Care industry combined with her passion for conservation has made her an integral part of the Life Forest® team.
