September is here and that means back to school! After a summer of everyone being home all the time, how can you help your cat adjust to an empty house all day? Michelle Fern welcomes back Dr. Amber Karwacki to talk about ways to keep your cat engaged during the hours that your family is away at work and school.

BIO:
Dr. Karwacki received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University. After graduating, she worked in New Jersey and Philadelphia both in private and corporate practice as well as with a guide dog school. Dr. Karwacki’s clinical interests include surgery, behavior, and ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association, and Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Karwacki can be found baking or in her garden with her husband and two sons. She participates in charity cycling events, 5K runs with her older son, and has recently started entering triathlons. Her miniature zoo at home includes two dogs, two cats, a leopard gecko, a hamster, koi pond and seven chickens.
