BIO:
PetHub is partnering with other pet industry leaders for the 7th Annual “National Lost Pet Prevention Month” (LPPM) in July. This month-long event will take lost pet prevention “back to the basics” and give pet parents and businesses the resources and tools needed to help curb missing pets.
Throughout July, LPPM partners will connect with pet parents by sharing focused, in-depth resources, tools and strategies for preventing a lost pet, as well as advice for getting them home quickly if they go AWOL (Absent WithOut a Leash).
Every year, approximately 6.5 million pets enter United States animal shelters and only 10.9 percent are returned to their owners (ASPCA). Even pet owners who have equipped their pet with a microchip, ID tag, or both can’t guarantee that their pet won’t be one of three pets that go missing during their lifetime. PetHub was created to give a parent parent the tools they need to get lost pets home faster (usually within 24 hours and never entering a shelter).
PetHub offers one of the most comprehensive, affordable lost pet recovery systems on the market today with multiple ways to get pets home quickly and safely. Since 2010, PetHub has revolutionized pet identification by combining modern technology with a physical ID tag allowing anyone to help a lost animal return home. The award-winning platform is used by pet parents around the world. Today, PetHub is helping over 500,000 pets get home faster, often before ever entering a shelter.
