Kelly Rutherford
Best-known to television audiences as Lily van der Woodsen, on the hit show Gossip Girl, Kelly played the sophisticated, fashionable, matriarch on the Upper East Side of Manhattan for 6 seasons culminating in December of 2012. Kelly is also known for her former roles in television shows Melrose Place, Homefront, and E-Ring. She has also appeared in movies including Scream 3, I Love Trouble, and Swimming Upstream.
As the devoted single parent to Hermes and Helena, Kelly is an advocate of multiple women’s and children’s charities including StepUp Women’s Network, Healthy Child Healthy World, and she is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Free Arts.
In November of 2011, Kelly launched KellyRutherford.com, an online magazine that features her favorite and most adored items in Fashion and Beauty. She uses this platform to give an inside glimpse into her world of Well-Being and Décor, sharing tips for healthy living, to chic accessorizing, and creative children’s projects.
Based in New York City, Kelly is an avid environmentalist who values an organic and green lifestyle for herself and her family.
Patricia N. Olson, DVM, PhD
Patricia N. Olson, DVM, PhD, is the president/CEO of Morris Animal Foundation, the largest non-governmental granting agency for companion animal and wildlife health studies. A former practicing veterinarian and scientist who studied reproduction and endocrinology, Dr. Olson has an extensive history in nonprofit work, including positions at Guide Dogs for the Blind and the American Humane Association. She also served as an AVMA Congressional Science Fellow and has taught at three veterinary colleges. Dr. Olson helped to found many programs that foster the human-animal bond – from preventing animal and child abuse to promoting humane dog training methods to consulting for governments and industries on humane and healthful transportation of animals worldwide. She has won numerous awards for her work.
